No more wondering, "What am I going to teach next?"
"Backpack Sciences was the best gift I could give my students during distance learning. The children were able to continue their science studies and develop a love for science and public speech. "

We have licensed use of step-by-step instructional handouts for teachers to truly integrate writing cross-curriculum via posterboard, speech, skit, news, pamphlet, flyer, billboard or persuasive essay assignments.
Receive a private 30 minute one-on-one session with Jackie to start planning the best strategy to move you forward.
We'll take a look at how to teach science that fits your specific teaching environment.
Take the overwhelm out of creativity. Receive lessons showing you how to break things down and apply step-by-step drawing basics. You'll confidently draw what you see in nature.
Learn the difference is between a fixed and growth mindset, why this is important, and most importantly, how to create that environment where children will think in a scientific way.

Continue teaching, checking in, engaging in scientific questions every day.
Continue to include cross-curricular components to all of your lessons.
New video lessons will be teaching the children directly with downloadable pdf with various follow-up activities.
Videos will include a transcript and audio file if you'd prefer to give the lesson yourself, read or listen to the lesson.
Each written lesson plan will include printable presentation materials, photos to help visualize the lesson, a support video, a follow-up activity and ideas to further expand on the subject.
Each lesson is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.
"The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are K–12 science content standards. Standards set the expectations for what students should know and be able to do. The NGSS were developed by states to improve science education for all students.
A goal for developing the NGSS was to create a set of research-based, up-to-date K–12 science standards. These standards give local educators the flexibility to design classroom learning experiences that stimulate students’ interests in science and prepares them for college, careers, and citizenship."
If the written description, photos and videos don't answer or clarify your questions, send an email or post in our private Facebook group. In addition to my input, we can use our community to help.
Honestly, where else can you get direct access to the creator of the lesson plan and ask for more help?!
You know your child or students the best. The lesson plans are a guideline. You do not need to follow each step-by-step exactly. I've included higher level facts in a different color font.
"Science is a subject I love, but I have zero skill in compiling lessons for my children. Jackie has a knack for making science fun, informative and interesting. Jackie will always make sure to answer your questions. If you would like your children or students to love science, then I highly recommend Jackie."
